Με αφορμή την πρόσφατη παραίτησή του από την Ελληνική Ένωση για τα Δικαιώματα του Ανθρώπου (ΕΕΔΑ), η οποία συνοδεύτηκε από ένα κείμενο καταγγελίας για μετατροπή της σε Μη Κυβερνητική Οργάνωση (ΜΚΟ), συνδεδεμένη, μάλιστα, με τις «δραστηριότητες» του Σόρος, ο γνωστός δικηγόρος Γιάννης Ραχιώτης μίλησε στον Δρόμο για την ιστορία, τη δομή και τις εμφανείς και «αφανείς» στοχεύσεις των ΜΚΟ. Κατά τον Γιάννη Ραχιώτη, «στην Ελλάδα τα τελευταία δύο χρόνια εξαπλώνονται ταχύτατα τα δίκτυα των μεγάλων δυτικών ΜΚΟ», ενώ οι «ειδικότεροι πολιτικοί στόχοι της μαζικής στρατολόγησης επιστημόνων και της διάχυσης εκατομμυρίων», όπως χαρακτηριστικά τονίζει, «δεν γίνονται αμέσως εμφανείς».
