Σύμφωνα με αναρτημένο σχετικό έγγραφο στην επίσημη ιστοσελίδα της CIA, ο πρώην Πρόεδρος της Δημοκρατίας, πρωθυπουργός και ιδρυτής της “Νέας Δημοκρατίας”, Κωνσταντίνος Καραμανλής, ήταν συνεργάτης του Τρίτου Ράιχ και είχε συνδράμει τις Γερμανικές δυνάμεις, την περίοδο του Δευτέρου Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου στην Θεσσαλονίκη στην “εξόντωση των Εβραίων” της πόλης.
