WHO WAS GENERAL HRISTO LUKOV?

Hristo Lukov, who was a general in reserve, was born on the 6^th of January, 1888, in the town of Varna. Having graduated from His Majesty’s Military Academy in 1907, he was subsequently promoted to the rank of a second lieutenant. During the First World War, he took part in all the military campaigns that the 1^st and 2^nd divisions participated in, as a commander of detachment. It is now necessary to mention a few words in relation to the considerable feat that he accomplished during that period of time.
