Turkish military vehicles and artillery were filmed at various locations near the border with Syria on Tuesday. Footage also shows excavators working on entrenchments in the area. Ankara said on Tuesday that preparations for a military operation against the US-backed Kurdish forces in northeastern Syria were complete. On Monday, US President Donald Trump threatened to ‘obliterate’ Turkey’s economy if the operation begins. US troops were seen driving through the region on Monday after Washington announced the withdrawal of 50 forces from the border area.
