Νίκη στον δήμο Ιωαννίνων πέτυχε ο Μωυσής Ελισάφ, που γίνεται ο πρώτος Εβραίος Δήμαρχος που εκλέγεται στην Ελλάδα, ενώ επικράτησε με λιγότερο από μία μονάδα έναντι του αντιπάλου του και νυν δημάρχου Θωμά Μπέγκα ( Σύριζα). Στα 161 εκλογικά τμήματα του δήμου Ιωαννιτών το ποσοστό της παράταξης του Μωυσή Ελισάφ έφτασε το50,33%, ενώ του νυν δήμαρχου 49,67%.
