The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution introduced by Russia to combat neo-Nazism. According to TASS, 112 countries, including Israel and the UAE, voted for the document entitled “Combating the glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to the escalation of modern forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance.” The resolution, because it absolutely silences Freedom of Speech, was opposed by 50 countries, including Germany, Austria, the United States, Britain and Canada. Another 14 abstained.
