Siemens to cut 6900 jobs around the globe

Siemens on 16 November 2017 said that it would cut 6900 jobs around the globe as part of its restructuring effort. Half of the jobs will be lost in Germany. The job cuts are related to low sales figures in power plant sector of its gas turbines in Germany and Europe.
