Libya’s illegal government of Tripoli (but United Nations-recognised) has accepted an offer from Turkey for military and logistical support as it seeks to repel an offensive led by forces loyal to renegade military commander Khalifa Haftar, sources say. The Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) on Thursday moved to put in action a security accord brokered with Ankara in November, according to reports.

Footage captured by an eyewitness shows a man lying near the roadway and several people dragging him into an ambulance. The video also shows gunfire against the FSB building.
