Δεν έχει φύγει καλά καλά η γενιά που έζησε τη φρίκη του Β’ ΠΠ, η γενιά που αγωνίστηκε κατά της Γερμανίας και κατάφερε να την νικήσει, και η Γερμανία όχι μόνο παρουσιάζεται στη διεθνή σκηνή ισχυρή, αλλά φαίνεται και να ηγεμονεύει τους λαούς που τη νίκησαν.
