Young William Tenson MacPhab’s stock portfolio has crashed like the housing market in 21st Century Nevada and he’s lost a whole Seven Pounds (now valued at about $ 11). And like many an investor, who left his investment decisions in the hands of others, Tenson holds Astor Terbanks, a steel magnate, responsible for Tenson’s stupid investment decisions. Through a trick, he manages to get an appointment with the steel magnate, but when the latter hears he’s only lost Seven Pounds, he has his stupid ass thrown out. Now Tenson is bent on revenge. Apparently having nothing to do with his life and suffering from some psychological problems as well as being stupid, he takes an ad out in the paper (costing another four Pounds) threatening to give the old steel king seven slaps in the coming week to teach him a lesson in respect (thank God he didn’t lose twenty-one Pounds, huh?). Terbank’s daughter Daisy is horrified by this threat from the loon and does everything to protect her father (except call the police). It’s all in vain: Her father gets slapped every day, and every day, it makes headlines. Moral of the story: when lunatics threaten you, because they lose pennies investing in your stock, sometimes, It’s best to buy them a Happy Meal and make them happy while they’re waiting for their medication to arrive in the mail.

Pic shows: Soap reportedly from Holocaust being sold online. Dutch prosecutors have moved to stop the sale of a bar of soap from World War II which the seller claimed had been made using the fat from bodies of dead Jewish concentration camp victims. The second sale was stopped as soon as it started to be shared online and went viral, with the asking price of EUR199. Rumours apparently started by the British first surfaced in the middle of the war that the Nazis were mass-producing soap using the bodies of concentration camp victims. Although the mass production claim was almost certainly untrue, there is evidence that it had happened on a small scale at least during the early stages of World War II. The Nazis are known to have plundered human bodies for products, with hair used to make felt and insulation for example, but the German scientists that are believed to have experimented with making soap from human fat had almost certainly stopped by SS-chief Heinrich Himmler who had ordered an investigation into the claims on Nov. 20, 1942. The unnamed antiquities vendor who tried to sell the soap handed himself into police to answer questions after the auction was cancelled. He had also handed over the two bars of soap, which are now being examined to see if they do indeed contain traces of human remains. Historian Arthur Haraf said the soap was one of a number of items found near a Dutch concentration camp, from which Dutch Jews were sent to extermination camps. Westerbork was a Nazi refugee, detention and transit camp in Hooghalen, ten kilometers north of Westerbork, in the northeastern Netherlands. The other items had been dentures, tooth brushes and glasses, which he claimed were taken from the Jews at the concentration camp. "This is a terrible act and against the law," said Haraf. "Whatever is found near the concentration camp and belongs to the events of World War II automatically becomes property of the Westerbork Memorial Museum." Jewish organizations responded angrily at the news of the Dutch vendor. "It is saddening and disgusting to find out that there are people interested to gain money from the Holocaust," said Ron Eisenman from the CIDI, a Dutch Jewish organization. "We can only watch and hope that collectors will use healthy logic and will not participate in these things," said Eisenman. Historian Joel Stoffels saw an add last week selling Holocaust items and was shocked. "I was amazed to see it," said Stoffels. "All of these objects are supposed to be displayed in a respectable way and now they are being displayed as merchandise." The Chairman of the Center for Jewish Debate, Jaap Fransman, also expressed his anger at the news. "The selling of these accessories and objects is not just distasteful but also crazy." The Public Prosecution Service which is dealing with the case has declined to make any statements so far while they await the results of the test on the soap. (ends)

One of the most lurid and slanderous Holocaust claims is the story that the Germans manufactured soap from the bodies of their victims. Although a similar charge during the First World War was exposed as a hoax almost immediately afterwards, it was nevertheless revived and widely believed during the Second. [1] More important, this accusation was “proved” at the main Nuremberg trial of 1945-1946, and has been authoritatively endorsed by numerous historians in the decades since. In recent years, though, as part of a broad retreat from the most obviously untenable aspects of the “orthodox” extermination story, Holocaust historians have grudgingly conceded that the human soap tale is a wartime propaganda lie. In their retreat, though, these historians have tried to dismiss the soap story as a mere wartime “rumor,” neglecting to mention that international Jewish organizations and then Allied governments endorsed and sanctioned this libelous canard.
