It is remarkable that some authors in France have researched the relationship of German National Socialism to secret societies and initiatic organizations. The motivation for this was the supposed occult background of the Hitler movement. This thesis was first proposed in the well-known and very far-fetched book by Pauwels and Bergier, “Le Matin des Magiciens” (English ed., “The Dawn of Magic”), in which National Socialism was defined as the union of “magical thinking” with technology. The expression used for this was “Tank divisions plus René Guénon”: a phrase that might well have caused that eminent representative of traditional thought and esoteric disciplines to turn indignantly in his grave.

MANFRED ROEDER

February 6, 1929 — July 30, 2014

National Socialist activist Manfred Roeder died July 30 in Neukirchen, Germany. He was 85. Born on February 6, 1929, he attended the elite National Political Education Institute (NAPOLA), and at age 16 he fought in the Wehrmacht in the Battle of Berlin. After the war, he entered law practice, and in 1971 he formed the right-wing Deutsche Bürgerinitiative (German Citizens’ Initiative), which still exists. In 1975 he was a delegate to the first conference of the World Union of National Socialists in Aarhus, Denmark, which was attended by WUNS Commander Matt Koehl. Roeder was classified as a “terrorist” and jailed repeatedly by German authorities, who accused him of political offenses ranging from Holocaust® denial and terror against asylum seekers to “popular incitement” and “contempt of the State.” In 1995 Comrade Roeder caused a minor scandal when he was invited to address German military officers at a training Academy in Hamburg. The following is a letter he sent earlier to the Commander from the Federal Penal Institution in Stuttgart on April 30, 1983:

DER KAMERAD: Θα πρέπει να ξεκαθαρίσουμε εξαρχής, ότι ουδένα αρνητικό συναίσθημα τρέφουμε προς τους Εβραίους – απλώς, παραθέτουμε ιστορικά γεγονότα.

Το Ταλμούδ αποτελεί το ιερότερο βιβλίο του Ιουδαϊσμού. Η εξουσία που διαθέτει πάνω στη θρησκευτική ζωή των Εβραίων προέχει εκείνη της Παλαιάς Διαθήκης. Αυτό, επιβεβαιώνεται και από το ίδιο το Ταλμούδ στο Erubin 21b (‘Εκδοση Soncino): “Υιέ μου, να προσέχεις περισσότερο στην παρατήρηση των λόγων των Γραφών, παρά στους λόγους της Παλαιάς Διαθήκης.” Οι Γραφές, υποστηρίζουν ότι το Ταλμούδ είναι μερικώς μια συλλογή παραδόσεων που έδωσε ο ίδιος ο Μωϋσής σε προφορική μορφή. Ο Χριστός κατεδίκασε τις παραδόσεις του Mishnah (πρώιμο Ταλμούδ) και εκείνους που το εδίδασκαν (Γραμματείς και Φαρισαίοι), επειδή εκμηδένιζε τις βιβλικές διδασκαλίες. Στο Mishnah, οι Ραββίνοι αργότερα προσέθεσαν τα Gemara (Ραββινικοί σχολιασμοί) και μαζί συνέστησαν το σημερινό Ταλμούδ. Υπάρχουν 2 διαφορετικές εκδόσεις του, εκείνο των Ιεροσολύμων και το Βαβυλωνιακό, με το δεύτερο να θεωρείται ως το αυθεντικότερο : “H εξουσία του Βαβυλωνιακού Ταλμούδ, είναι επίσης ανώτερη εκείνης του Ιεροσολυμικού. Σε περιπτώσεις αμφιβολίας πρέπει κανείς να συμβουλεύεται το πρώτο προκειμένου να πάρει την απόφασή του.” (R.C.
