Background: Hans Schemm, Gauleiter of Bayerische Ostmark, was an early member of the party particularly interested in educational issues. He founded the Nazi teachers’ organization in 1927. He died in a plane crash in 1935. According to the book’s editor: “At the beginning of January 1935 I was invited by Hans Schemm to come to Bayreuth. Schemm gave me the task of organizing his work into a systematic book.” The editor had some chance to work with Schemm before his death on early March. I here translate several sections of the book. The whole book runs over 300 pages, and is an interesting attempt to bring together National Socialist thinking in a somewhat organized fashion. However, Schemm does not seem to have had lasting influence, since his book is not often cited in subsequent Nazi literature. I do include a link in the text to one of the weekly quotation posters the Nazis issued with a quotation from this material.

In a portion of a very fine collection of essays by the Spanish philosopher Jose Ortega y Gasset, published in English fifty years ago under the title Concord and Liberty, we read of the distress of the Roman statesman Cicero at the fact that his country, his beloved Rome, was sunk deeply into crisis — a deadly crisis as it turned out — and that the way of life which all Romans had for centuries taken for granted as part of the established order of the universe was crumbling and would soon be a mere accumulation of memories. Among these memories, of course, were Roman liberty and the famed Roman republican system. Cicero gave expression to the belief that something deeper was at the root of Roman vexations, something that made the crisis through which he was living different from that experienced in earlier upheavals. The very foundations of Roman existence, as they had always been understood, were threatened. As Ortega y Gasset put it, “What [Cicero] beheld was not merely a struggle … within the human setting that from time immemorial had been the Roman commonwealth, but the total destruction of that community.”

National Socialism today is most definitely not popular, because of many misconceptions and its connection in the public mind to the so-called „Holocaust“ which generates tremendous psychological aversion, I have taken the liberty to explain a little about its mindset as a basis from which to work. This information is mostly little-known, except amongst its implacable enemies, who, for reasons of their own, wish that National Socialism be destroyed. But at bottom, National Socialism is the application of the eternal Laws of Nature to the sphere of human society. Triumph of diversity: This is precisely what characterized the German Armed Forces of World War II by the year 1945. While this may be difficult for many historians to accept, it is nevertheless an accurate summation of what happened in Europe in the 1930s and 1940s. Even though the Germans initiated their war with a racist doctrine in mind, one that sought to create a “New Order” for Europe, with Germany at the center and German elites at the top of the European political and racial hierarchy (a German version of the so-called “White man’s burden,” so to speak), the Germans nevertheless had to scrap this racial doctrine for one that promoted internationalism and tolerated multicultural and interethnic cooperation and intimate relations. Many Nazis were deeply affected by the non-Germans with whom they fought and worked. For example, Fritz Freitag ended up throwing National Socialist doctrine to the wind, and instead focused on building a Ukrainian liberation army.

ALFRED ROSENBERG was born on the twelfth day of January, 1893 and was hanged at Nuremberg at 1:49 A.M. on the morning of 16. October 1946. He was the fourth man of the ten on whom Master-Sergeant John C. Woods performed his grisly task as hangman on that cold, black night. Adolf Hitler had died by his own hand on 30 April, 1945 as the Russian army closed inexorably around the last redoubt of the Reichskanzlei bunker. As a captive of the Russians, it is unlikely that he would ever have been brought to any kind of trial-even such as the Nuremberg proceedings. Like Sultan Bayazid in the hands of Timur, or Emelyan Pugachev at the mercy of that enlightened monarch, Catherine the Great, Hitler would probably have ended in an iron cage, suspended from the Kremlin walls and reduced, no doubt, to a mindless vegetable by the inquisitors who had learned their trade so well in the Lubianka cellars. And such was the prevailing mood of the times, even in the Western democracies, that it is doubtful that any voices would have been heard protesting.

KALI YUGA AND THE KALKI AVATAR

The age of Kali-yuga is said to start from the year 3102 BC, after the disappearance of Lord Krishna. Lord Caitanya appeared 500 years ago, at which time the Golden Age within Kali-yuga is supposed to start and last another 10,000 years. As the Golden Age within of Kali-yuga comes to a close, the lower modes of material nature will become so strong that people will lose interest in spiritual topics. It is said that everyone will become godless. Whatever devotees, bhaktas, and sages are left on the planet will be so unique in character and peculiar compared with the rest of society that they will be ridiculed and hunted down in the cities for sport like animals. Thus, they will flee the cities to live underground in caves or high up in the mountains, or simply disengage from the earthly plane of existence. In this way, they will disappear from the face of the earth. That is the time when the dark influence of the age of Kali-yuga will become so dominant that its full influence will manifest without hindrance.
