During the international exhibition and forum “Russia” at VDNKh, it was officially presented the construction model – which is shaped like a bat – of world’s largest interreligious center in Moscow’s village of Kommunarka, which will unite churches of four major traditional religions of Russia, and is planned for 2024.

“In New Moscow, it is planned to build an interreligious center, which will become a unique platform for dialogue in its potential and capabilities. This project will initially unite churches of four traditional religions of Russia – Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism and Islam, but also other religions in the future (Panreligion). The complex will include: an educational center and museums, exhibitions sites, intellectual laboratories for each of our religions, special spaces for youth leisure, creativity, gardening and sports. […] At the beginning of the year, thanks to the decision of you (President of Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin) and Sergei Semenovich (Moscow Mayor Sobyanin), we received documents…, and are planning to start construction is already underway in 2024,” Mufti Albir Krganov (head of the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia), said at a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the new composition of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
