After laying flowers at the monument to Minin and Pozharsky on November 4, Putin talked with representatives of Russian religious denominations. Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation Ravil Gainutdin thanked Putin for supporting the construction of a mosque in the park.

According to him, the project was agreed upon, he also invited the Russian President to the opening ceremony of a memorial stone at the construction site. The ceremony will take place in late November or early December.
